- Any natural wood means that there will be some color variation, mineral streaks, small tight knots, random grain with sap and heartwood.
- Some woods such as cherry, jatoba, etc. will naturally darken sometimes drastically when exposed to sunlight or even natural light. This may be enhanced when finished and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
- Extra sanding may be required when applying dark stains and glazes to ensure an even finish.
- It may be necessary to use a pre-sealer on some woods especially when using medium to dark stains.
- When ordering finishing please refer to page 2 of the current order form.
- All finishing is a spray on stain with pre-cat lacquer. Standard colors are available for your review in our Online Design Catalog and in our Downloadable Catalog. Glazing is an option that is also available.
